Since 1991, Jeffrey M. Jacobson has been a practicing attorney based in Wheaton, IL. Jeff is a resident of Downers Grove, residing there with his wife Heidi. He is a father to four children. As an attorney, Jeff practices family, bankruptcy, employment, immigration, and realty law. Jeff is a member of the DuPage County Bar Association, serving as Treasurer from 2017- 2018. He is also a member of the Inns of Court, an invitation only society where judges and lawyers come together to discuss matters of law. Jeff has served on the Downers Grove Liquor Commission for seven years.
Over the years, Jeff has been a staunch advocate for true equality under the law. He has worked with organizations such as Pro Bono Advocates, Legal Aid, and The Help Desk, providing the access to justice many people cannot afford. One of the most rewarding aspects of his career has been working towards the advancement of women and children in dire situations.
Jeff is also a strong supporter of Unions, having been a member of the American Federation of State, County, and Municipal Employees for five years. He has also represented many Union members, and continues to support union stores and businesses.
